Happy Halloween everyone! It’s cold and wet here in the Metro DC area after the aftermath of hurricane Sandy. I made these little treat boxes for my son’s classmates:
I used the owl punch to punch out the body of the owls. To make the pumpkin, I used the small oval punch and just free hand cut a stem. The bat was made using the old bat punch for the wings. And of course, I sponged them for more dimension. The “boo” is stamp is from my stash (don’t remember who manufactured it)…and the paper is also from my non-SU stash. It gets harder and harder to come up with things to put in these boxes since they don’t allow candy. Usually, I give out pencils, stickers and some small toy. I had a lot of fun making these and hopefully the kids enjoy them…though I’m sure they wished it was candy. I know the teacher and parents are happy that it’s not candy…who needs a ton of little kids bouncing off walls. Enjoy your Halloween, stay safe

How cute! Happy Halloween!
Thanks Bonnie! I hope you had a wonderful Halloween.
