Earlier this month, we got the new 2012-2013 Stampin’ up catalog with our demo pre-orders. While I was looking through it, I noticed these flowers in the catalog that I wanted to copy. I wasn’t sure if they were made with the Blossom punch, or if it was the small flower from the Fun Flowers die. Well, I decided to make them using the Blossom punch because I figured it would go a lot faster if I used the punch. I remembered making 3-D flower buds before using the fancy flower punch, so I wanted to try using the Blossom punch. There were two different styles of flowers that I made in the past. One would give me a flower similar to the one in the catalog, and the other one looked like this….
Here is a picture of the two styles of flowers. The one on the left is the one in the catalog.
They are prettier in our SU cardstock, so I decided to make lots of them in various colors.
Aren’t they pretty? I really like the flowers this punch makes….pretty easy and quick to do. I am planning a lot of fun projects with this flower, stayed tuned for more posts.
***Edited 5/30/12: Since there has been a lot of interest, I will post instructions on how to make these flowers on my blog.
