I love bunny images and try to collect as many “bunny” themed stamps as I can. When I saw that Stampin’ Up had a bunny stamp set, I knew that I had to own it. This set is called “Every Bunny” and is currently in the 2011-2012 Idea Book & Catalog.
This front, I used the sentiment from the retired set “Easter Blossoms” and flowers from “Bordering on Romance” in the current mini catalog. Other supplies used: Labels Framelits, Lucky Limeade Baker’s Twine, Framed Tulips Embossing Folder, Square Lattice Embossing Folder, Flower from Itty Bitty Punch set; Basic Rhinestones.
I didn’t really like how that title looked so I redid it:
All the images were colored with Stampin’ Write makers (various current and retired colors) and Watercolor Crayons Subtles Collection. I also added some Dazzling Details to some of the images. I stamped the images with Stazon black ink and cut them out individually and them glued them down with Tombo.
The image of the egg hot air balloon was stamped three times. I put it up against the window and traced the bottom portion of the image on the back side and glued a cut out of the egg on the top. I did this so that the image would be seen on either side when it would dangle from the window. If you have the images on MDS, you could just flip the image and print it (note to self…buy digital images). I sandwiched some clear jewerly elastic between the two images to dangle from the top of the card. This is a close of the back side that I traced and colored.
The size of the card base is A2. The inside pop-up card piece is 5 1/2″ x 8 1/2″, scored and folded at 2 1/4 “, 4 1/4″ and 6 1/4″. I used on of the framelits to cut the center hole for the bunny in the hot air balloon to dangle from. I sponged the top and bottom of card with Bashful Blue & Certainly Celery. I adhered to two edges together with Tomo glue to create the pop-up.
