Birthday Card and Favors…

My sister in law turned 18 this month. She is going to have a debutante party, but she didn’t want anything extravagant. Her mom asked if I could help make some party favors for the birthday/debut party. I thought it would be really cute to make a dress box (I’ve had this die forever and haven’t had the opportunity to use it) with her favorite color:

A side view of the box:

And her birthday card with her favorite animal:

          Michelle,
Unfortunately, this is not a Stampin’ Up, It is made using a Sizzix Big Shot Pro dress die and is not compatible with the regular big shot. Sorry.

The cat is cut with the Cricut..It’s from the “Create a Critter” cartridge, and the cupcake is create with the Stampin’ up create a cupcake punch. The plaid paper is DCWV (sorry I don’t remember the stack it’s from). Hope that helps.

Can you please help me how to do this dress box youve made,my daughter is turning 18 too this year and Im looking for something simple yet classy like this one.Yhank you in advance.

    • michelle says:

Marivic, this is created using a dress die for the Sizzix big shot pro. If you don’t have this machine, there are cartridges out for the cricut and other electronic cutting machines that can cut out a boxes similar to this. If you don’t have any of the above, you can google dress box template and it will give you printable options that you can print off and cut out yourself.

    Hi,

Love the dress box! Would love it for my nieces 15th birthday.

    Can you share?

    Thanks :)

    • michelle says:

      Cari,
This dress box is made with a Sizzix big shot pro dress die. If you don’t have one, but have any electronic diecutting machines, there are also dress dies for all the different machines. If you don’t have any of the above, you can do a google search for “dress box template” and it should give you some that you can print and cut out.

      • Cheryl says:

I was also wondering what machine are you using to cut out the die? I only have a Cuttlebug and am thinking that it probably wouldn’t work.

    Best regards,

This is an awesome project and I would also like the instructions. Since so many people are requesting the same thing is there a reason why you’re not able to post all the instructions here?

    • michelle says:

Cheryl, this was made using a die..I don’t have a template. You can google for a dress box template or if you have an electronic die cutting machine, there are similar dress box die cuts.

  13. j’adore ! j’adore ! j’adore ! =^..^=

    Hi,
I am planning a bridal shower and I do not own a machine. I don’t mind cutting these by hand. Can you email me the actual size template so I can cut it?
I will really appreciate it if I can have these done by tomorrow.
    Thanks a mil!
