Seems like all our friends/family are having babies…the past 6-7 years, we have gone to at least 3-4 baby showers a year. I usually make a diaper cake as my gift for the parents-to-be. Here is another one of my diaper cake creations. I hope the mommy-to-be likes it. She didn’t have one particular theme on her registry, so I just picked one of items off her baby registry and ran with it…Here are some pics:
These are the little froggies that I made with Stampin’ Up Cardstock and ink. These were inspired by another Stampin’ Up Demo Frenchie. I didn’t have all the oval punches that she used, so I had to make do with what I had. I think they turned out pretty darn cute.
Shot of the diaper cake before adding ribbon paper frogs.
Close up of some of the cute froggie blanket. I saw the receiving blankets on her registry which had little frogs, and then I saw this froggie blanket…I knew this was going to be my theme for the diaper cake.
Close up of one of the froggies that I made (this is the centerpiece of the ribbon banner).
Another cute froggie plush that I found in my hunt for all things frogs related. This little cutie is sitting on top of the diaper cake holding a rattle.
Love this creative gift. Your work is inspiring
