Happiest Birthday Wishes

Here is a card I created that has just about everything that I love…the color blue, wet & dry embossing, pleated paper, pleated ribbon, and lots of layers.

I just love creating my own cards. I can personalize it, and create a special one of kind card just for that special occasion without having to run to the store and spend hours just to hunt down that perfect card. Here’s some tips on recreating my card:

Pleat paper, this one was created using a box pleat.

Stamp & emboss your sentiment. I punched out several layers.

Pleat your ribbon. I used a strip of sticky strip cut in half and pleated small portions at a time. I kept the ribbon on the roll since the size of your pleats will determine the length that you will need.

Supplies:

  • Pool Party Cardstock
  • Whisper White Cardstock
  • Embossing Buddy
  • Silver Embossing Powder
  • Heat Gun
  • Versamark Ink Pad
  • Circle Punches (Various Sizes)
  • Dotted Scallop Ribbon Border Punch
  • Corner Rounder
  • In Color Designer Paper
  • Lattice Embossing Folder
